I have an appointment to be induced at 8:00 PM tonight. I started having contractions last night at 1:45 AM and was hoping that by now I'd be pushing the baby out. However, things seem not to be progressing too much. Mostly they are 10 minutes apart and are bearable. I went to work to finish up a home study and just returned from a one hour walk in the neighborhood with the kids. Although bouncing up and down on the buggy bouncer thing at the park brought on a fairly painful contraction, I don't seem to be feeling too different than I was at 1:45 AM. Damn. I guess either way, there should be a baby her fairly soon. Jeff has at least two large tote bags filled with food for his coaching role so we're all set.

Yah!!! How exciting! It's good to know that you've packed the essentials. But two bags . . . that's it????
Yay! Good luck, Katie!
Katie and Jeff and D and E: just wanted to let you know that we on this side of the Atlantic have been cheering for you guys and your new baby and hope everything has gone smoothly and that you're already getting to know the little one by now. Love and starshine from Germany,
Kristen (and Ralph!)
I feel for you!! I know your pain...since both Ty and Jules ended up being induced I endured similar questions and calls"you're still pregnant?" "no baby yet" "have you felt anything". Anyway, I hope that is all past you and that you are holding the newest member of your family. Can't wait to meet the little one!! I have lots of hand me downs I am saving for you but I will hold on to them until things get a little less crazy. I'm also happy to help with anything you need so please let us know if you need something specific. If I dont hear from you maybe I will just have to show up at your house with food some random day (dont worry I will wait a little while to let you all get settled).
